Brendon Eich

Brendon Eich was born July 4th, 1961. He received a bachelors degree in math and computer science at Santa Clara University. After that, Eich received his master’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1985. He then created JavaScript in 1995 during the time he was a Netscape employee. Also, Eich co-founded Mozilla in 1998 only to later be recognized as the CEO in 2014. However, due to various issues, he was forced to resign in just 11 days. Eich is now the CEO of Brave Software, a firm developing the Brave browser. He also co-developed BAT (Basic Attention Token) an in-browser cryptocurrency rewarding users for browsing the internet by showing ads.
